Every release carries a room number and a mood. Room 001 is Serenity: the room for the days you need to unwind, to take your time, to find a stillness that belongs entirely to you.

Serenity No. 001 is a 25ml fountain pen ink made in small batches in Paju, South Korea, formulated as the companion ink to Dominant Industry's Keyno Stay.tionery No. 001 Serenity fountain pen — though it stands perfectly well on its own in any fountain pen, dip pen, or glass pen.

The Colour

As It Flows

Serenity begins as a soothing, gentle aqua-teal blue, with the cool clarity of sea glass. It's an easy, calm colour on the page — the kind that doesn't demand attention so much as invite you to slow down and look closer.

As It Dries

This is where Serenity does something more interesting. Formulated with advanced pigment-and-dye blending techniques, the ink undergoes what Dominant Industry describes as a "noticeably sensual" transformation as it dries: the aqua-teal deepens, revealing soft undertones of sea-glass green shifting into deeper navy and moodier, darker shadows. The overall effect has been compared to sunlight scattering across a misty, sub-zero lake — colour that separates and layers rather than settling into one flat tone.

Shading

Serenity shows high, elegant shading, with genuine colour separation visible even at moderate nib sizes. On premium, low-absorbency papers such as Tomoe River, and with medium or stub nibs, the shading becomes especially pronounced — the ink's full tonal range, from pale aqua to deep navy, unfolds clearly within a single stroke.

Shimmer & Sheen

Serenity carries no shimmer — no metallic or mica particles. Its visual interest comes entirely from its colour depth and shading rather than added sparkle, keeping the ink understated and elegant on the page.

Formula & Compatibility

Serenity is a dye-based ink using advanced dye-and-pigment blending techniques, pH-neutral and safe for resin and celluloid fountain pens. It is non-waterproof, with a smooth, well-lubricated flow suited to most fountain pens, as well as dip pens and glass pens.

Serenity's shading and colour separation are most visible on premium, low-absorbency papers such as Tomoe River, where the ink has room to develop its full tonal range as it dries.
