Dominant Industry Keyno Stay.tionery No. 001 Serenity is a mid-size fountain pen from Dominant Industry's ink studio in Paju, South Korea — the brand's second release under the Keyno name, and its first serious step from ink-making into pen design.

Design

Body & Material

Serenity is crafted from Ice Crystal acrylic resin — a translucent material swirling with teal blue tones, milky cloud-like clouding, and warm orange-gold accents, meant to evoke sunlight scattering across a misty, sub-zero lake. Because the resin pattern forms naturally, every pen is genuinely one of a kind; no two Serenity pens look quite the same. The cap is a soft cream tone, balanced against the coloured barrel.

Details

The design carries a quiet narrative thread throughout. The cap top draws from a classic timepiece crown. The clip takes the silhouette of a key, decorated with a keyhole motif and a compass symbol. Even the nib carries the theme forward, with a keyhole-shaped breather hole surrounded by fine Keyno engravings. Warm brass-toned, rose-gold trim finishes the metal accents throughout.

Built in a balanced mid-size format with a flat-top profile, Serenity is designed to settle naturally into the hand, aiming for a weight and proportion that stays comfortable through long writing sessions rather than a pen you notice only when it's uncomfortable.

Nib

Serenity is fitted with a #6 stainless steel nib in rose-gold tone, available in Extra Fine, Fine, or Medium. The keyhole breather hole isn't just decorative — it's part of the nib's full custom engraving, tying the writing instrument back to the Hotel Keyno concept from the first glance.

Feed

The standout technical feature is a genuine ebonite feed, a material prized in vintage and high-end fountain pens for its capillary performance. Compared to standard plastic feeds, ebonite delivers a richer, more stable ink flow — exactly what's needed to bring out the shading and colour separation of a well-matched ink.

Filling System

Serenity uses a converter filling system, with a dedicated converter included. Note that this pen is designed to work specifically with its included converter system.
