Built around the idea of bottled light, the Pearl Series pairs richly pigmented bases with fine, eco-friendly shimmer particles, designed to be used with medium or broad nibs to avoid clogging.

Colour Profile

Base Colour

Periwinkle Twinkle opens as a medium blue-violet, a purple-toned blue sitting closer to true blue than lavender, with subtle violet undertones threading through it. The overall effect reads like a dreamy twilight sky.

Shimmer

Periwinkle Twinkle carries a rose gold shimmer, also described as a gold pearl finish, milled fine (up to 50 microns) from eco-friendly material so it moves cleanly through standard feeds without clogging. The shimmer is generous in large swatches and wet writing, adding a warm metallic layer over the cool blue-violet base — shake the bottle well before each fill to keep the particles evenly suspended.

Shading

Periwinkle Twinkle shows medium shading, with the tonal gradient developing nicely across a stroke and adding visible interest without overwhelming the base colour.

Sheen

Periwinkle Twinkle has no sheen effect. Its visual character comes entirely from the contrast between the cool violet-blue base and the warm rose gold shimmer.

Recommended Nibs
