The Jibun Techo First Kit is the complete way to start the Jibun Techo system: three coordinated books — DIARY, LIFE, and IDEA — held together in a single clear PVC cover. Each book has its own job: the week ahead, the life you're building, and the thoughts you don't want to lose. It's the version Kokuyo recommends for anyone trying the system for the first time.

Design & Construction

The First Kit's cover is a clear PVC sleeve in a soft grey tone, with a colored paper insert visible through the transparent front. It holds all three books together with a rubber band that also carries a printed ruler — a small, practical extra for anyone sketching out a weekly grid by hand. The A5 Slim format measures 217 × 136 mm — slightly narrower than standard A5, so it sits comfortably in one hand or slips easily into a bag. The binding opens flat, even close to the spine, and a pen holder is built into the cover.

DIARY: The Week, in Full

The DIARY book uses a Monday-start, one-week-per-spread layout built around a central 24-hour vertical timeline — the same signature format found across the Jibun Techo lineup, dense enough to log work, meals, sleep, and mood side by side. Each week includes a mini monthly calendar, a to-do list, moon-phase tracking, sunrise and sunset times, and a weather checkbox for every day, all printed on Kokuyo's original THIN PAPER — lightweight, resistant to show-through, and smooth even with erasable ballpoint pens. Weekdays and weekends are color-coded, and each month gets its own accent color.

LIFE: What You Want to Remember

The LIFE book is built for records that outlast a single year: a 100 Wishes list, a page for your personal mottos, a life-planning timeline, a running list of anniversaries, a world time-difference map, a year-by-year "My News" log, a family tree, and a page for password hints — the things worth keeping long after this year's diary is full.

IDEA: Wherever Your Thoughts Go

The IDEA book is a grid-ruled memo notebook with no fixed format — journal entries, to-do lists, recipes, things you're curious about, sketches. The dot-grid guide keeps handwriting tidy without dictating what goes on the page.
